We study functional/structural metallic materials.
Prof. Ishikawa mainly study functional metallic materials such as hydrogen
storage/permeation alloys, and, Prof. Miyajima mainly study structural materials
such as ultrafine grained metals.
Metallic materials support the infrastructure of our society which is normally hidden from our view, so that, even small degree of improvement affect tremendous amount of effect on our society.
